The Other Shoe

You may recall I sent my dissertation to Fuller back in November for their evaluation. Since then I've been waiting to hear back from them: "good to go," "needs some work," OR "what were you thinking?!"

Returning from California on Wednesday night, I checked e-mail on the mobile once we landed. There it was... an email from Fuller with "Final Project" in the subject line. Heart racing, I opened the email to read, "Congratulations!" It went on to say my dissertation was approved without changes! No more work needs to be done -- just print it, send it, and they will bind it.

So we are officially green lighted for a June graduation in Pasadena, CA. That will coincide nicely with our sabbatical this summer. I think we'll throw in a few days at Disneyland and Legoland just for fun.
